Where's the costumes?
All right, it's November 3. Where are everybody's Halloween costume pictures?

Our memory card reader is being all cranky right now (i.e., the computer doesn't even see that it exists), so we've ordered a new one. Once we can again download our photos from the camera, we'll send them via Yvonne's Flickr account. :-)

Being completely broke and unmotivated to go to the annual party at my old residence, we opted to join another couple for an Alien/Aliens/Alien 3 marathon. We enjoyed the night with pizza, about 5 cupcakes each, a handful of cookies, and roasted pumpkin seeds. Honestly, I think we had a better time not being at the party, because as usual, everyone in attendance was completely hungover until late the next evening. My costume, if you could call it that, was fancier-than-usual eyeshadow and a nice shirt with jeans. I've got a few good ideas for next year.

I got a free hat in the mail, so it made sense to use it.

As Looloo's pants don't have pockets and she doesn't carry a purse, I opted to just take everyone else's photos after they were posted. It worked out pretty well but I was extremely antsy on Saturday waiting for them to arrive.
