Earthquake
Thanks for your outpouring of email concern, folks. Yes, I survived the earthquake.

Everyone at the studio was freaked out (apparently there was an impromptu evacuation of the stage), but I was in the car at the time so I didn't feel it at all.

I didn't even know it happened until the radio DJ switched between the start end end of a song, with the explanation that the regular DJ had panicked and left the building.

I'm fine. Thanks for asking. I'm vacationing in PA this week. It's a scientific fact that that earthquakes only hit CA when I'm not there. I've missed every one in the last 10 years.

Everyone I talked to said that they are OK. A little rattling, but that's about it.

Wow, you got concerned emails? I got nothin', and I sat through 30 seconds of my office floor shimmying around like a Magic Fingers in slow motion.
